What I will be BUYING in 2010 (as of now)

So I've compiled a list of all the books I plan to BUY in 2010, so far. Though, please note:

1.) This is BUY as in MUST HAVE for my collection. I plan on reading MUCH, MUCH more, just there is only so many I can buy.
2.) I know I will buy much more when I have more money, i.e. after my birthday and after Christmas, but so far this is the list of MUST-BUYS I have compiled.
3.) I know I'm forgetting some, but again this is just a frame of reference.

Also, in case you were wondering I pre-order books for the next month in the middle/end of the month before it so nothing past May is actually bought yet.
And if you were curious I usually buy all my books from B&N. It's really cheap to pre-order online from there, though the only draw back is that they don't ship (with free shipping) until all books are released so I only pre-order books in that same month so I don't have to wait an excessively long time. I loooove Borders in the store, but pre-ordering Hardcovers is much cheaper online at B&N. Though they have great online deals like buy 4 books get 5th (at lowest price) free, which is actually going on now, and so is great for buying paperbacks. Also, I like Amazon too, theres no waiting until all are released, but I always have gift cards to B&N so I just buy from there instead. :)

But NOW on to the fun stuff...

MAY 2010:
(which are already pre-ordered)

Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready & The Rise of Renegade X by Chelsea Campbell
The Tension of Opposites by Kristina McBride & Harmonic Feedback by Tara Kelly
(p.s.- check out the trailer!)

JUNE 2010:
(Which I am actually pre-ordering next week, just as a seperate order than May 2010 books)

Sea by Heidi R. Kling & A Love Story: Starring My Dead Best Friend by Emily Horner

Tell Me A Secret by Holly Cupula & Raised By Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

So Many Boys by Suzanne Young & The Deathday Letter by Shaun David Hutchinson

JULY 2010:
(For which I am NOW trying to save up money for- hey, I don't even have a job)

Other by Karen Kincy & Jealousy by Lili St. Crow

Forget You by Jennifer Echols & The Ghost and the Goth by Stacey Kade

AUGUST 2010:
(Yay! This is my birthday month which means I can get books as presents!)

The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa & Winter Longing by Tricia Mills

SEPTEMBER 2010:
(For which I can pre-order these with my leftover birthday $)

The DUFF by Kody Keplinger & Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff

OCTOBER 2010:
(In which money starts to get tight around this time)

Nightshade by Andrea Cremer & Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl

The Scorch Trials by James Dashner & Hunger by Jackie Morse Kessler

NOVEMBER 2010:
(These might have to be Christmas presents because if 2010 is anything like 2009 I will have no $ in Nov.)

Matched by Ally Condie & The Mockingbirds by Daisy Whitney

And finally...
DECEMBER 2010:
(Though I hope to get more as Christmas presents!)

 Anna and The French Kiss by Stepahnie Perkins  & The Lost Saint by Bree Despain {NO COVER YET}

That seems to be all, for now! Remember I am going to READ much more, but die to my limited cash flow this all I plan on buying at the moment! However if I get more $ than along the way that equals more books! :)

Now that you know what I'm buying in 2010, what do YOU plan on buying?
Let me know in comments:)

6 Books That Have Blown Me Away in 2010

In honor of the Read-a-Thon going on, Eleni of La Femme Readers is having an activity in which you tell the top 6 books that have blown you away in 2010.

I had a lot of good books to choose from so my decision was hard, but here is what I have narrowed it down to:

1. Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta
2. Birthmarked by Caragh M. O'Brien

3. Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
4. Some Girls Are by Courtney Summers

5. Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
6. All Unquiet Things by Anna Jarzab

For more information on Eleni's activity go here.

So I'm sure by now...

...You've all heard about Princess Bookie's AWESOME Contest Craze for the Read-a-Thon! But in case you haven't you should check it out as there are some pretty kick-butt books (mostly ARCs) up for grabs!

Take a look for yourself HERE.
